Murine Macrophage-Derived Chemokine (MDC) is a unique member of the CC chemokine family. MDC is highly expressed in macrophages and in monocyte-derived dendritic cells, but not in monocytes, natural killer cells, or several lines of epithelial, endothelial, or fibroblast origin. Recombinant Murine MDC is an 7.8kD protein containing 68 amino acid residues. Source: E.coli Form: The sterile filtered solution was lyophilized with no additives. Stability: The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at -20°C. Reconstituted MDC should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. Purity: 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC. Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug). Reconstitution: We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for future use. Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human activated lymphocytes using a concentration of 10.0-100.0ng/ml. Country of Origin: USA |
