|
Description: RNF174 (MARCH4) is a multi-pass membrane protein mainly found in the membrane of Golgi apparatus. It is a complex enzyme with a RING-CH-type zinc finger. It acts as a ubiquitin-protein ligase mainly involved in third step of ubiquitin conjugation. The RINGv-type zinc finger domain is required for E3 ligase activity in which the E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase mediates ubiquitination of MHC-I and CD4, and promote their subsequent endocytosis and sorting to lysosomes via multivesicular bodies. It is mainly expressed in brain and placenta. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 0.5-2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Jurkat cell lysate Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
