Neuropeptide Y Y2 Receptor (NPY Y2R, NPY-Y2 Receptor, Neuropeptide Y Receptor Type 2, NPY2R, NPY2-R, Neuropeptide Y Receptor Y2, Y2 Receptor) |
|
|
Description: NPY2R belongs to the Neuropeptide Receptor GPCR family. Neuropeptide Y receptor type 2 has been identified in several brain regions, including the cortex (frontal and striate), hippocampus (including dentate gyrus) and subiculum, amygdala, cerebellum, hypothalamus, substantia nigra and lateral geniculate nucleus. It is also expressed in superior cervical ganglion. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry (appears to work better on mouse tissue, although positive staining is seen in rat). Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:500-1:1000 with perfusion fixed tissue. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
