Nornidulin (Ustin)
Biochemicals Storage: 4C/-20CShipping: Blue Ice
Nornidulin is a depsidone produced by several fungal species with potent and selective antibacterial activity. While literature on nornidulin is limited, it is closely related to folipasatin and unguinol identified as inhibitors of phospholipase A2, arachidonic acid release from rat polymorphonuclear leukocytes and nitrendipine binding to porcine heart membrane. While showing some calcium blocking attributes both metabolites have potential as antiinflammatory agents.

Soluble in ethanol, methanol, DMF or DMSO. Limited water solubility
