Description: Pentachlorophenol (PCP) is a synthetic substance that was first produced in the 1930s. In the past, it has been used as a herbicide, insecticide, fungicide, algaecide, disinfectant and as an ingredient in antifouling paint Some applications were in agricultural seeds (for nonfood uses), leather, masonry, wood preservation, cooling tower water, rope and paper mill system. Exposure to high levels of pentachlorophenol can cause increases in body temperature, liver effects, damage to the immune system, reproductive effects, and developmental effects. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1906 IgY, Chicken Pab Rb x Ch I1906-10 IgY, Chicken (HRP) Rb x Ch I1906-12 IgY, Chicken (FITC) Rb x Ch I1906-14 IgY, Chicken (AP) Rb x Ch Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
