Phosphatase, Alkaline, Intestine (Alkaline Phosphatase Intestinal, ALPI, Alkaline Phosphomonoesterase, Glycerophosphatase, Intestinal Alkaline Phosphatase, IAP, Intestinal Alkaline Phosphatase V, IAP-V, Kasahara Isozyme) |
|
|
Description: Alkaline phosphatase removes phosphate groups from the 5' end of DNA and RNA, and from proteins, at a high pH. Most mammals have 4 different isozymes: placental, placental-like, intestinal and non-tissue specific (found in liver, kidney and bone). The antibody can be used as a second layer APAAP reagent for immunohistology. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
