Description: Vitamin K dependent Protein S is an anticoagulant plasma protein. It is a cofactor to activated Protein C in the degradation of coagulation factors Va and VIIIa. It helps to prevent coagulation and stimulating fibrinolysis. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000; Used to detect Protein S in 10ug of mouse liver tissue lysate. Immunoprecipitation: 1:50,000; Used to detect Protein S in 15ug of normal mouse serum. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: I1904-46E IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab DkxRb I1904-46K IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab DkxRb Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
