Technical Data
Protein S (PROS1, PROS, Vitamin K dependent protein S)
Vitamin K dependent Protein S is an anticoagulant plasma protein. It is a cofactor to activated Protein C in the degradation of coagulation factors Va and VIIIa. It helps to prevent coagulation and stimulating fibrinolysis.

Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:1000; Used to detect Protein S in 10ug of mouse liver tissue lysate.
Immunoprecipitation: 1:50,000; Used to detect Protein S in 15ug of normal mouse serum.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Recommended Secondary Antibodies:
I1904-46E IgG, H&L (HRP) Pab DkxRb
I1904-46K IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed (HRP) Pab DkxRb

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
