Human RANK (receptor activator of NF-KappaB), a soluble 20kD protein, comprising the full-length of the TNF-like extracellular domain of RANKL, is a member of the TNFR family, identified as a dentritic cell membrane protein. Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug) Reconstitution: Reconstitute with sterile dH2O to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. Solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for future use. Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to induce osteoclast formation in RAW264.7 cells using a concentration range of 5.0-10.0 ng/ml The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of IL-8 production by human PBMC (peripheral blood mononuclear cells) is 10ng/ml. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile dH2O, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: 20kD |
