Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunoblot Analysis: A 1:500-1:2000 dilution of this lot detected Tau in human Alzheimer brain RIPA lysates. Human Alzheimer brain lysate was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with anti-Tau (1:2000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
Immunohistochemistry: An independent laboratory reported this lot detected Tau in paraffin-embedded human Alzheimer diseased brain sections.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
