|
Description: Thrombospondin-2 is a disulfide-linked homotrimer that belongs to the small thrombospondin family of secreted modular glycoproteins. It is a matricellular protein that can interact with cell-surface receptors, cytokines and proteases to modulate cell function. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 2-8ug/ml. Can be used as capture antibody in sandwich ELISA with polyclonal detection antibody. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Mouse myeloma cells with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant human Thrombospondin-2 (aa19-1172). Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
