Acvr1c, Alk7, Activin receptor type-1C, Activin receptor type IC, Activin receptor-like kinase 7

Serine/threonine protein kinase which forms a receptor complex on ligand binding. The receptor complex consisting of 2 type II and 2 type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. Type II receptors phosphorylate and activate type I receptors which autophosphorylate, then bind and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators, SMAD2 and SMAD3. Receptor for activin AB, activin B and NODAL. Plays a role in cell differentiation, growth arrest and apoptosis.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and FLISA. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: APC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide mapping to a fragment of residues within amino acids 341-368 in the C-terminal region of mouse Acvr1c. Species sequence homology: human, rat
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with Allophycocyanin (APC).
Purity
Purified by Protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes mouse Acvr1c
