MIIP, IIP45, Migration and invasion-inhibitory protein, IGFBP2-binding protein, Invasion-inhibitory protein 45

MIIP inhibits glioma cells invasion and down-regulates adhesion-and motility-associated genes such as NFKB2 and ICAM1. MIIP exhibits opposing effects to IGFBP2 on cell invasion.

Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:1,000 Optimal dilution to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide somewhere between corresponding to a portion of amino acids within aa280-320 in the C-terminal region of human MIIP.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography and peptide affintiy chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human MIIP.
