CCT5 is a molecular chaperone that is member of the chaperonin containing TCP1 complex (CCT), also known as the TCP1 ring complex (TRiC). This complex consists of two identical stacked rings, each containing eight different proteins. Unfolded polypeptides enter the central cavity of the complex and are folded in an ATP-dependent manner. The complex folds various proteins, including actin and tubulin.
Applications
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1ug/ml Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.

Full length recombinant corresponding to aa1-542 from CCT5 (AAH06543) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
