VCAM-1, which is present on activated endothelial cells. VCAM-1 is an adhesion molecule, which binds to the integrin alpha4/beta1 (VLA-4) and to the integrin alpha4/beta7 on lymphocytes. This antibody has been shown to inhibit T lymphocyte adhesion to TNF stimulated endothelial cells. The molecular weight of the recognized antigen is 110kD.

Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.

Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.

Full length recombinant corresponding to aa1-739 from human VCAM1 (AAH17276) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
