GFP is designed for immunofluorescence microscopy, fluorescence based plate assays (FLISA) and fluorescent western blotting. This product is also suitable for multiplex analysis, including multicolor imaging, utilizing various commercial platforms. Chicken IgY lacks the classic "Fc" domain and does not bind to mammalian IgG Fc receptors. Thus resulting in lower backgrounds for western blotting, ELISA and Immunohistochemistry.

Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
ELISA: 1:20,000-1:120,000 Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Full length fusion protein corresponding to 246aa of GFP derived from the jellyfish Aequorea victoria.

Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes wild-type GFP, recombinant GFP, and eGFP. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against ant-chicken serum and purified and partially purified Green Fluorescent Protein (Aequorea victoria). No reaction was observed against human, mouse or rat serum proteins.
