CD40 cell surface antigen is expressed by B lymphocytes and a subset of T lymphocytes. CD40 plays an important role in the differentiation of B lymphocytes into effector cells, and is also involved in interactions between T and B lymphocytes.

Applications
Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Hybridoma
X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
