Apoptosis Inhibitor 5 is an anti-apoptotic factor that is widely expressed with higher levels in heart, pancreas and placenta. It is also highly expressed in several cancers. At least 4 isoforms are produced by alternative splicing.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml. Immunohistochemistry (ffpe): 0.5-1ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa478-492, RQIYNPPSGKYSSNL to C-terminus of human Apoptosis Inhibitor 5.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, 5% BSA, 0.05% thimerosal, 0.05% sodium azide. Reconstitute with 100ul of sterile dH20.
