CD86 is also known as B7-2 and is the second ligand for CD28 and CTLA-4. It may have an important role in co-stimulation of T cells in the primary immune response.

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Flow Cytometry: 1:20-1:100. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:20-1:100 Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Fusion Partners
Spleen cells from immunized mice were fused with cells of the P3.X63 Ag8.653 myeloma cell line.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
