Dicer is an RNase III-like enzyme which cleaves double-stranded RNA into 21-23 nt RNAs. These RNAs are referred to as siRNA (short interfering RNA). It is believed to be essential in siRNA-mediated gene suppression.

Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:200 Flow Cytometry (Intracellular): 1:100-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa1423-1440 of human Dicer.

Supplied as a liquid, 0.025% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.
