MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000.

Apoptosis, or programmed cell death, occurs during normal cellular differentiation and development of multicellular organisms. Apoptosis is induced by certain cytokines including TNF and Fas ligand of the TNF family through their death domain containing receptors, TNFR1 and Fas. DR3 is a cell surface receptor with a death domain, with functional similarities to TNFR1 and Fas (CD95). The receptor for DR3 has very recently been identified and has been termed Apo-3L. DR3 itself has also been called Wsl-1, Apo-3, TRAMP and LARD, a functionally induces apoptosis and NF-KB activation.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Western Blot: 1-5ug/ml. Detects a band at ~59kD when using total cell lysate from Jurkat celss under denturing and reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
Peptide from extracellular domain of human DR3.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with MaxLight™650.
Purity
Purified by ion exchange chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human DR3 at ~59kD.
