Glutathione S transferases (GSTs) are a large family of enzymes which catalyse the conjugation of reduced glutathione to electrophilic substrates. Glutathione S-transferase pi is one of four major types of mammalian GSTs.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry: 1-2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa196-210, SPEYVNLPINGNGKQ to the C-terminus of human glutathione S-transferase pi (BSA).

Supplied as a liquid in sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, 50% glycerol.

Purified by affinity chromatography.
Specificity
