Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Flow Cytometry: 2.5ug/ml. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Fusion Partners
Spleen cells from immunized LOU/c rats were fused with cells of the IR983F myeloma cell line.
Recommended Negative Control
I1904-76L1: IgG1 Negative Control (FITC)
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
Purified mouse IgG2a
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide, 50% glycerol. Labeled with Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
Purity
Purified by affinity chromatography from tissue culture supernatant.
Specificity
Recognizes mouse IgG2a heavy chain. Recognizes an allotypic determinant upon mouse IgG2a. It recognizes the IgH Ia allotype (as expressed in Balb/c mice), but not the IgH Ib allotype (as expressed in C57/BL mice).
