Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
ELISA: 5ug/ml (as a coating antibody) Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher.
Avidity for rat IgG2b: 4.7 x 10e9 M-1.
Fusion Partners: Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse Sp2/0 myeloma cell line.
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide.

Purified by affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes the rat IgG2b heavy chain. Does not crossreact with other immunoglobulin classes or subclasses.
