Probably involved in formation of autophagosomal vacuoles (autophagosomes). The subunit is 3 different light chains, LC1, LC2 and LC3, can associate with MAP1A and MAP1B proteins.

Applications
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:1000 Western Blot: 1:100-1:1000 Immunofluorescence: 1:100-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to CQEEVAGIRAKF at the N-terminal of human MAP1LC3 C conjugated to Blue carrier Protein. Peptide Sequence Homology: monkey (Macaca mulatta) and canine.
