Produced in goats immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant human Nectin-3 (rhNectin-3; aa 56-400; Accession # AAF97597) extracellular domain. Human Nectin-3 specific IgG was purified by human Nectin-3 affinity chromatography. Nectin-3, also known as poliovirus receptor-related 3, is a 95kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the Nectin family of Ig superfamily proteins. The extracellular domains of the Nectin family form cis-homodimers that are homophilic and heterophilic trans-interacting cell adhesion molecules, which play important roles in various cell-cell junctions. Human Nectin-3 extracellular domain shares 94% amino acid sequence identity with that of mouse Nectin-3 and then biotinylated.
