Mouse stromal cell-derived growth factor 20 (SF-20), otherwise known as interleukin-25 (IL-25), a 166aa secreted growth factor and member of the UPF0556 family. SF-20 should not be confused with interleukin 17E (IL-17E), which is also alternatively called IL-25.
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
ELISA: 0.25-1ug/ml, in conjunction with S1012-83M as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 – 0.4 ng/well of recombinant mSF-20. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant mSF-20 is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Recombinant mouse SF-20, expressed in E. coli.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.2. No preservative added. Labeled with Biotin. Reconstitute with 500ul sterile 0.1% BSA, PBS.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes mouse stromal cell-derived growth factor 20.
