Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 1:500-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human Tau around the phosphorylation site of serine 262 (I-G-SP-T-E)
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 150mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Detects endogenous levels of Tau only when phosphorylated at serine 262.
