The alpha/beta TCR is expressed on T lymphocytes of all mouse strains tested. Plate-bound or soluble antibody activates a/b TCR-bearing T cells. In vitro and in vivo, this antibody can induce immature thymocytes to undergo apoptosis. In vivo administration of this antibody has been shown to deplete a/b TCR-bearing cells to near completion and prevent graft rejection.

Applications
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry.Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution
Flow Cytometry: ≤ 2ug/10e6 cells using final volume of 100ul Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Immunogen
TCR affinity purified from mouse T-cell hybridoma DO-11.10
Form
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with Biotin.
Purity
Purified
Specificity
Recognizes common epitope of the beta chain of the mouse alpha/beta T cell receptor (TCR) complex. Does not react with gamma, delta TCR-bearing cells.
