TLR11 is principally expressed in macrophages and liver, and epithelial cells of the kidney and bladder. Mouse TLR11 is reported to recognise uropathogenic bacteria, and to activate appropriate host defense genes as part of the innate immune response to microbial infection.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Synthetic peptide corresponding to a 15 aa sequence near the carboxy terminus of mouse TLR11.
