MaxLight™ 650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000.

Human a-Synuclein is predominantly a presynaptic neuronal protein that has been localized in close proximity to synaptic vesicles. Studies have revealed that this protein is mostly cytosolic, although a fraction may be associated with vesicular membranes. In addition, a-synuclein binds to small synthetic unilamellar vesicles and rat brain vesicles, suggesting that a-synuclein may play a role in neurotransmission or in the organization and regulation of synaptic vesicles. a-Synuclein has been reported to be a major component of Lewy bodies in Parkinson’s disesease, as well as dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. In recent studies, antibodies to b- and g-synuclein have been used to investigate the biological functions of a-synuclein as well as its role in neurodegenerative disorders.
Applications
Suitable for use in Western Blot, FLISA, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Immunofluorescence. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
Immunohistochemistry: Paraffin sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
