MaxLight™ 650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000.
Beta amyloid is an extracellular filamentous protein deposit found in the brain. It is the major protein component of amyloid cores, neuritic plaques and is also found as a deposit in neurofibrillary tangles. Alzheimer’s diseased brain tissue is characterised by an abundance of neurofibrillary tangles, neuropil threads and abnormal neuritis in senile plaques. Neurofibrillary tangles represent dense accumulations of ultrastructurally distinct paired helical filaments whose major component is a microtubule-associated tau protein.
