Label
Alkaline Phosphatase (Calf intestine, MW: 140kD)
Applications
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunoblot (Western Blot or Dot Blot), and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution
ELISA: 1:8000-1:32,000 Western Blot: 1:1000-1:4000 Immunohistochemistry: 1:200-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.

Highly purified; Assay by IEP resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-alkaline phosphatase (calf intestine) and anti-streptavidin. No reaction was observed against anti-avidin.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in 0.05M Tris chloride, 0.15M sodium chloride, 0.001M magnesium chloride, 0.0001M zinc chloride, 50% glycerol, pH 8.0, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and protease free), 0.05% sodium azide. Labeled with Alkaline Phosphatase.
Stabilizer
10 mg/mL Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) - Immunoglobulin and Protease free
Storage and Stability
May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 6 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity. Alkaline phosphatase conjugates are sensitive to light.
