MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000.

This antibody reacts with the TGF alpha and shows no cross-reaction with EGF and the neuropeptide synenkephalin. The staining with this MAb is completely blocked by the peptide used for raising this antibody. TGFa (aa50) is a growth factor with 33% homology to EGF, binds to EGFR, activates tyrosine phosphorylation of the receptor, and stimulates cell proliferation. It plays a role in tumor initiation by inducing the reversible transformed phenotype.
Applications
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, FLISA, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Flow Cytometry: 0.5-1ug/10e6 cells Immunofluorescence: 1-2ug/ml FLISA: Coating antibody Immunoprecipitation: 1-2ug/500ug protein Immunohistochemistry (Frozen/paraffin): 1-2ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT. Staining of paraffin tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 minutes followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Positive Control
Jurkat or Ramos cells, heart, kidney, pituitary, Breast cancer, melanoma
Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
