The chicken homologue of mammalian CD28, demonstrating 50% sequence identity and conservation of key functional sequence. In chickens CD28 is expressed by all thymocytes and T cells excluding most of those that are gamma/delta TCR positive (Koskela et al. 1998). The co-stimulatory role of CD28 is important to T cell function in chickens (Arstila et al. 1994).

Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.

Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™490 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.

Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
