Drop-out Mix Complete (DOC) is used as a supplement to Drop-out Base for making synthetic, complete media formulations in accordance with Methods in Yeast Genetics.

Directions per Liter (Broth)
Mix 1.8 grams of drop-out mix with 6.7g Y2025 Yeast Nitrogen Base w/o AA, Carbohydrate & w/AS per liter of ddH2O. Adjust to desired pH. Sterilize with 0.2um membrane filter. Aliquot into sterile containers. 
Directions per Liter (Plates)
Mix 1.8 grams of drop-out mix with 43.7g D9510-01 Drop-out Base (w/o aa) With Glucose and Agar per liter of ddH2O. Mix thoroughly. Heat with frequent agitation and boil for 1 minute to completely dissolve the powder. Dispense into appropriate containers, loosen caps and autoclave for 15 minutes at 121ºC (15psi).
Storage and Stability
Store powdered media at RT. Stable for 12 months after receipt. Opened bottles should be capped tightly and kept in a dark, low humidity environment. Prepared media should be kept at 4°C and used within a short period of time.
