Certificate of Origin
The raw animal product used in the manufacturing of Peptone Y is derived from casein, a milk product derived from bovine, originating in New Zealand where there have been no reported cases of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE). Peptone Y is processed in Mexico. During processing of the product, a batch is heated to a minimum of 80°C for 1 hour including a minimum of 5 minutes at 105°C or greater and then dried at a minimum of 140°C. The enzyme used in processing is porcine-derived from the USA.
