Terrific Broth is a highly enriched bacteriological medium specifically designed by Tartof and Hobbs to increase the yield of plasmid DNA derived from suspension cultures of E. coli due in part to the increased buffering capacity derived from using mono and dibasic phosphates. Non-animal sourced Tryptone: Utilizes a plant-based tryptone manufactured by a controlled enzymatic hydrolysis of plant proteins containing a mixture of peptides and free amino acids which provide a source of organic nitrogen and growth factors.

BSE-Free
All raw materials of animal origin are sourced from USDA-designated BSE-Free countries.
Dust-Free
Specially milled powder blends are designed to eliminate or greatly reduce airborne particulates.
Homogeneous
Proprietary blending technology ensures complete mixing of components.
Appearance
Light tan, homogeneous, free flowing powder
