beta-Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (b-hCG) may be produced by some tumor cells. An increased level of b-hCG may be a sign of cancer of the testis, uterus, ovary, liver, stomach, pancreas, or lung. beta-human chorionic gonadotropin (b-hCG) may also be produced in response to certain conditions that are not cancer. beta-human chorionic gonadotropin (b-hCG) is being studied in the treatment of Kaposi's sarcoma.
beta-Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (b-hCG) has a MW of 22kD. beta-Human Chorionic Gonadotropin(b-hCG) assay is used for the diagnosis and monitoring of tumors of the testis and of the ovary. beta-Human Chorionic Gonadotropin(b-hCG) levels are significantly increased during pregnancy. Used to aid diagnosis of Down's syndrome.
