Biological Activity
This FITC-conjugated gp120 binds to CD4 bearing cells in FACS.
Applications
Suitable for use in Direct Immunoflouorescent staining, FACS, Immunohistochemistry and Dot Blot. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilutions
Direct Immunofluorescence: 1:50 Dot Blot: ≥1:100 using purified anti-gp120 monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. Aliquots are stable at -70°C for 6 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
