Applications
Suitable for use in FLISA, Fluorescent western blot and Immunofluorescence. Other applications have not been tested.
Recommended Dilution
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability
Lyophilized powder is stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O prior to use. To avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot reconstituted stock solution and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
Purity
Purified by ion exchange chromatography.

Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder in PBS, pH 7.2, 10mg/ml BSA, 0.09% sodium azide. Labeled with Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC). Free FITC removed by solid phase adsorption.
Specificity
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Fluorescein, anti-Chicken IgY, anti-Chicken IgY F(ab’)2 and anti-Chicken Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Chicken IgY F(c) or anti-Pepsin.
