Storage and Stability
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™550 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.

Purity
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes the sequence of human b-Amyloid [1-40] in the region from amino acids 15-30. No blocking activity was observed with b-Amyloid [1-12], whereas the peptides b-Amyloid [14-35], b-Amyloid [15-28] and b-Amyloid [17-30] were all able to block antibody activity as well as b-Amyloid [1-40].
